Well, cats seem to be the flavour again. The crags at El Potrero Chico were roamed by feral cats and their kittens, mostly sprawled about in idlness.
Here is one such cat.
Otherwise rough young climbers seemed to like to adopt these kittens. One guy used to bring his kitten to the crag every day, when he was working his project, and leave it with a saucer of milk until dinner time, while the kitten seemed happy to hang around. At evening, the guys would play with their cats/kittens with seemingly great affection.
