I was feeling pretty bad and still suffering with the remnants of a virus and a rash, I (and Pippa) needed to get out for a short walk.
I had realised that I’d missed Hart Side on my challenge to complete the Wainwrights on OL5.
A wet and windy day dawned and I managed to drag myself out of bed and we headed for Dowthwaitehead (a very secluded valley near Dockray).
A short walk and cobwebs blown away, we reached the summit of Hart Side and turned around to head back for the car. The ground was sodden, and I fell over four times on wet grass, my boots were full of water and was glad to get back to the car.
Now I can say that OL5 is complete.
