Project in Copper – Part 5

A restful afternoon was called for after an exciting 19 mile run in the morning (exciting due to sighting a flock of flamingos), so work on the copper project progressed with Dr. G. in Shropshire.

The item is slowly beginning to emerge from it’s hot water cylinder origins and will hopefully fit the purpose splendidly.

  1. Well I’m clearly – 1) unimaginative, ‘cos I still have no idea (assuming the disliking garden water features [ponds] comment way back wasn’t a ploy to keep us off the scent), and 2) really forgetful, ‘cos I still can’t remember what you said it was gonna be (hypnosis is still an option)!

💡 Hmm, wait, what about wine instead of water…

  2. Here’s a tongue twister to be going on with whilst you figure it out
Are you copper-bottoming ’em, my man?
    No, I’m aluminuming ’em, Mum!

  3. Its obvious to me exactly what this is…………. 😉
its a cake display stand; that is easily transportable to any adventure so the cake of the day can be easily photographed. :yum:

  4. I’m ‘still’ convinced alcohol will feature in this somewhere! That said, it’s looking increasingly to me like a giant Adam’s Fig Leaf – maybe it’s to cover the ‘parts others can’t reach’ on some giant Cumbrian Angel of the North West? Whatever happens, in due course of time it’ll be a ‘green’ contribution to the scene…..
