Haystacks

With bad weather forecast for the maintenance meet w/e, Anna and I headed out for a quick evening trip up Haystacks with the AW walking group. The evening was glorious, but a little midgy lower down. As we got higher, the breeze picked up and blew them away, giving us a great stroll along the top.

It was a good evening for photos, and Anna got some practice in with her new camera.

As we rushed down to the pub, anna took time out to say hi to an old friend. We’ve met this cat on numerous occasions over the last few years, since he was a kitten. He was quite a way from his home at the farm, but was looking quite happy. He’s fairly distinctive as he’s only got one eye.

  1. Ah yes, the maintenance meet.

Sorry for non-attendance, went to Kilnsey on the Saturday and had a sheep rescue to run on Sunday (unsuccessful – we couldn’t find it!).
