There’s been too few cakes for my liking recently, and with Pete and Tish opting for beer in Cham, I decided it was down to Anna and me to get out there and do some scoffing. Of course, we couldn’t just go straight to the cake shop………. to balance out the calorie intake, I carefully calculated what activity was need to burn sufficient calories for 1 piece of cake each and a shop coffee. A run around Buttermere was called for.
With all her visits to the gym, Anna soon left the fat boy in her wake, but as the weather was disgusting, we both deserved our prize.
We called into a new cafe for us, Treeby and Bolton close to the Rohan shop in Keswick. The cakes were fab, I had carrot cake, while Anna went for a chocolate cheesecake Yum!
I might have been wetter than I look in that photo.

Those pictures are soooo big, that I thought I was actually inside the cake!
