As Laetitia’s birthday treat we went to Holmescales Activity Centre to walk with Harris Hawks. Amazing birds!

We learnt lots about the birds; made new jessies and bell leashes; got to feed them (baby chickens – urgh) and then – the best bit. We got a chance to fly them from and to our hands (wearing gauntlets of course) for tidbits (slivers of steak).
