You would have thought we’d be knackered after a week in Spain learning to skydive, but no, on the Sunday after our return, glorious Lakeland weather greeted us. In weather like this one has to think of venues out of the sun. How about Neckband crag – never been there before? What a good choice! We only did three routes (we were a bit tired), Gandalf’s Groove Direct (E2), Gillette Direct (E2), and Razor Crack (E1). All of them justifying their three stars – brilliant lines and the very highest quality rock.
