Of course the dry weather didn’t stick around. It never seems to stay that dry in the Alps, in fact I’ve decided that the Alps are actually a lot wetter than the Lakes! True or not, this August has been particularly wet.

But that doesn’t get in the way of a good BBQ! Check out the picture of our BBQ’d pork chops, sausages and green peppers, despite the rain. Our Ford hire car also mutated from an under powered tractor engined diesel, into comfy sitting room. Its redeeming feature; a front passenger seat that folded flat to create a picnic table.
