A visit to Arthur’s

Saturday saw Ian, Anna, Andy and Sabiene at Arthur’s in Kinlochleven, for a social visit, a hill walk and the Ice Factor. Our Saturday hill walk took us over a couple of the lower hills close to Kinlochleven: Beinn na Caillich and Mam na Gualainn, 764m and 796m. Not even Munros!! But starting from near sea-level, they still entailed about 900m of accent. A 7 hour day. It must have done us good. Even the sun came out, and with these days of biblical rain, it was most welcome.

    What about the “Ice Factor” though? An indoor ice climbing wall must be worth more of a mention…
