| Our first ever proper ski tour! After a short session skiing at Contamine (to get used to the new ski touring kit) we took ourselves away from the piste and off round a touring circuit that traversed through the Col de la Fenêtre, offering a long, but easy, descent and amazing views of Mont Blanc. Being new to touring we fell over a fair bit (as you can see from the picture above), but we had some awesome fun in the deserted surroundings far far away from the busy pistes! |

Pete, your skis look huuge!!! Tish looks like she’s picked up some tips from me!
They aren’t that big, they come up to just above chin level when I stand next to them! Don’t forget I’m quite tall…
how about a piccy of the new base from which you did all these fun things??!!
