A visit to Kong Vinter gave us a very interesting day as the temperatures rose and the ice began to crumble. Steve abseiled down the line of Silikon to the right of King Kong. He was out of sight when we heard a huge boom, as Steve kicked most of the route into the gorge. With no way straight up we lowered a number of ropes down as Steve made a zig-zagging way back up. At one point we entertained ourselves throwing snowballs at him…..
