In a throwback to WW2 and following Gordon’s plea (and heavy taxes) to be green, we have begun the task of feeding the whole of Cumbria with our own vegetables.
First though the new garden needs to be cleared and prepared…………

Sabiene pretends to be Charlie Dimmock……
The rockery area produced nearly instant success with a lot of hard work from Anna and Sabiene, and from Anna’s friend Jo, this weekend.
My skills are in the slash and burn area of gardening…….. the bigger the tool the better and then I burn it all; Fantastic!

So, I see Andy and Sabiene working and I see Anna and Ian with dirty trousers but having fun and resting. Not so sure we should come up this weekend.

no you must come, it is fun, honest - A & S are coming back for more!!!!!!!!
Also you will get very fit & strong and use up about 4 million calories.

thats the olympic torch…… the chinese needed a greek god to look after it!!!

Now that plot looks like it could get interesting
See if you can get the Greek God to do some work when he drops by to collect the torch
