Sterling Adventures

I took a trip over to Morpeth in Northumberland to meet for the first time in 30 years (30!!!!!!) some girls who were in my form at school. Plus one whom I had seen more recently: 1980 when we graduated from the same university. Only one of the group had I been in touch with regularly over the last three decades. It was an amazing experience - and absolutely fascinating - but the most surprising thing was that I’d have recognised all but one of them in the street.
