I had intended to rest this weekend but seeing the fine weather just had to get out. It was a toss up between Shepherd’s and the Roaches and the latter won.
We climbed mostly on the more remote buttresses, like Sky Buttress below. No such things as cold hands today!!


Getting near sunset now, as Chris pulls over.

Just time for an easy solo on nice reddening rock (looks bit like red rocks?), as the sun sets.

Then walk down as the moon looks on.

Well, gritstone is really only just a coarse grained sandstone…
