Well it just goes to show that Cumbria has some interesting places, and because it’s a small lump on it’s own, not many go there.

And your first picture (another great one, although it must be windy there as all the trees seem to be leaning in a uniform direction?) looks like a glimpse of somewhere foreign, the US maybe?

That was my first thought too: I have pictures just like it from the hills behind San Jose, California.

The first picture is Great Mell Fell, not far from the summit. It’s fab up there. A nice place for a picnic on a summers day. But there are no crags Pete so you probably won’t go there
