At 1.46pm on Sunday afternoon a bitter cold wind heralded the start of the coming winter………brrrrrrrrrr! Whatever happenend to global warming?? Just like last year, a couple of good weeks, and thats it.

Anna and I headed for a packed Langdale and did Oak Tree Wall, and Original Route……..

The cold wind forced a retreat and we faced a long walk along Langdale to find the car (spaces were at a premium when we arrived). Luckily we met Max and Blue on the way down and cadged a lift…… leaving time for a half of Mothball in the pub.
