After numerous weeks of “Welsh Sunshine” we finally had a period of dry weather long enough to allow the cable laying through the lakes to progress. The hauling line laid through Pot Sump by Andy and Colin was used to drag two 750m long armoured cables through to the other side of the lakes. The cables terminate in Wigmore Hall, where the entrapment camp will be set up. The other end of the cables run to Cauldron Chamber in the Showcave and will act as a communications base.
