The sun doesn’t come onto the face until midday so our first route, Original Route felt harder than it’s grade, probably due to cold fingers and muscles. Was this a good choice of venue? By the time we started on the second route, Debauchery, the face was bathed in sunlight so muscles and fingers now worked smoothly. Great route, good choice! Probably Shane’s last route in the UK for a while and certainly better than working.
