I’ve been working in Scotland this week and took the opportunity to join Sabiene in her quest of munro bagging. Blimey…. what a week she chose. The weather had been horrendous all week, but Sabiene had already been out and added to her tally. I joined her and Arthur on a quick romp up onto the Aonach Eagach to the top of Meall Dearg. We had all sorts of weather: hail, snow, rain, storm gusts and the occasional bit of sun. (yes sun!!)

The wind occassionally had Sabiene off her feet… no chance with me of course, as I weigh 2 or 3 pounds more than her!

As it was so windy we left the other Munro, Sgorr nan Fiannaidh at the west end of the ridge for another day………

A great day out though…. and we didn’t see anyone else all day…….
