Sunshine and snow
To complete my week’s holiday and with a fantastic forecast for the fells, it was important to make the most of the sunshine and escape the thick fog of the Eden Valley.

So today we headed to Seatholler before climbing to the summit of Rosthwaite Fell. The views around were amazing.

A scrambly route around and across Rosthwaite Fell soon led to the flanks of Glaramara.

Another fantastic day in glorious sunshine.

Wow, the weather looks fantastic…. tho I’m still glad I’m here in the scorching sun.
You’ll find it a shock coming back though! You’ll see from my other reports earlier on that the weather has been fantastic too.
if not a tad chilly. I think they had -11 deg C in Shap last night. Brrrrrr.
