Hardly surprising that this mountain is called ‘Wind Mountain’…
It was minus 24C when Val came around that morning.
But it wasn’t the cold so much as the wind chill.
We walked up Grotto and picked up with Damian at His ‘n Her’s.
As you see, they are frozen bonkers and quite technical this year.

Oooh, Wind Mountain looks fantastic. I don’t recognise where it is.
Wind (Tower) Mountain lies just east of the Three Sisters on the same time.
It was very windy this year, as well as cold, with much spindrift.
Here you see Damian high on Coire Dhubh. I thought to myself that if Tish had worn goggles like that on Ama Dhablam, then she mighn’t have suffered as much?
