I’m in San Francisco for work, but it would be a shame not to enjoy the perfect weather, so a friend and I took their boat out on the San Francisco Bay for an afternoon. Not much adventure, but the views were nice.

What, no computer controlled, GPS linked ruder control?
Well, I can see that in your case work doesn’t suck!
Today I enjoyed a return trip (with no thanks due to the penny pinching Virgin Trains) to Birmingham. Not quite the same as San Francisco…
No wonder you’re smiling! V jealous.
Since then I’ve seen even better: I visited an old friend today who works for the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. Office on the top of the sand dunes looking out over Monterey bay, with seals and sometimes whales playing out the window. I’m jealous too.
