Lower Pen Trwyn

After all the activity at Tremadog yesterday we were knackered, especially because we hadn’t taken any food (and only a litre of water) out with us to the crag. So the free beer had totally finished us off!! So, we settled for the easy option of a few sport climbing routes on the Great Orme (that also having the benefit of being on the way home). I’ve never been to the Lower Pen Trwyn before, having always kept to the mountains of Snowdonia when making the trip to North Wales — I should have been before, what a lovely place. 🙂

  1. I know – I’m so hard! Just had to get Pete to take a photo of me in my jeans.

Actualy they’re my ancient jeans I relegated to gardening jeans. They have an excellent stretch, but holes in the knees, and the rock was very sharp – with my superior technique I managed two bloody knees on the first route! 😯
