Sabiene was determined to have a BBQ, whatever the weather!! Blimey! It rained. It was biblical! The drains in Ambleside all popped out of the road, and the roads were a foot deep in water. And it all came down in the space of a few minutes. It was still sunny in Windermere where we’d been to Booths to shop for BBQ provisions.
