Keeping a record…

This blog was originally imagined as way to keep in contact with friends who were thinking of leaving the UK, however, these days I use it for so much more than simply sharing adventures – in fact I use it quite literally as the founding idea of why blogs were created; a log (of whatever) on the web, a weblog… In my case this means I regularly look back at what we were all up to in this week in years gone by. For example, I can hardly believe that this time last year I had just sent the new Tremadog guidebook off to the printers! I hope others enjoy this aspect of the blog as much as I do, it’s as much about being a record of what happened when, a resource, as it is about being a fantastic way to share.

Anyhow, in that vein, no particularly special adventures to report from last Sunday, just another trip to Shepherds Crag in Borrowdale to report, and record, allowing us all to recall in future years… Why Shepherds? Simply, our legs were’t up to a long walk-in after Saturday’s run around Grizedale Forest yet our arms needed some exercise. 😉

As all the routes we climbed were repeats I slipped up, I forgot to take any pictures! 🙁 Luckily Laetitia was better… 😀
