Gauging interest …

This December I will be celebrating a birthday that is divisible by 10 and hence I thought that perhaps I should organise a party. Hence this post is to gauge your interest…

I was thinking of a blog rendezvous-style weekend, but with more cake and a few other invitees, but most certainly with a focus on ‘doing something fun outdoors’.

So, the options are:

Derbyshire: stay in a bunk barn, go climbing, walking, caving, running, orienteering

South Wales: stay at Whitewalls, go climbing (there’s some in the quarrys above Whitewalls apparently), walking, caving, running, orienteering (less likely)

Let me know your preferences via the poll below, or alternatively send me an email.

Would you be interested in attending?

  • Yes (100%, 13 Votes)
  • No (0%, 0 Votes)

Total Voters: 13

  1. I can’t use the voting system. It thinks I have already voted cos I’m on the same ip address as Pete.
    So here are my choices:
    Yes
    Derbyshire
    17th – 18th Sept and 22nd 23rd Oct
    All :yum: :yum:

      1. Unfortunately I’m flying back from London on the 16th Sep. To extend my trip would be a bit expensive for me. But who knows, maybe the good company and the cakes are worth it ❓

  2. I can’t vote either – is this sabotage?? I go for:
    Interested
    Derbyshire
    Any date except 1-2 October
Chocolate or fresh and fruity or preferably both :yum:

  3. As Laetitia says above, it is because the poll system uses your IP address (and other stuff) to know if you have already voted. Therefore, if you share your internet connection with another (i.e. you are living together connecting to the internet via the same router) the system thinks you are the same person – well the IP address is the same anyhow!

  4. Pete: is it possible to extract the number of participants who have filled in the poll from somewhere; otherwise I won’t be able to compute the final percentage preferences…

alternatively, Tish, Anna and Richard will just have to go and find another IP address!
