I headed off to Reiff, just North of Ullapool, at the weekend to go climbing with the Ladies Scottish Climbing Club.

Reiff is amazing, absolutely stunning views, fabulous rock, great wildlife (We saw black gullimots, whales and seals) and with a really wild and remote feel to it and some really incredible sunsets.

I was climbing with my friends Koon and Helen, which was a lot of fun, we did a whole variety of routes, the highlights for me were Batman which ascends a wild thuggy hanging groove which Koon lead, Jimnastic, I just love any climbs where you have to throw yourself into crazy positions, and Hy Brasil which goes up a really defined arete, so much fun to hang off on the edge.

My favourite cragging venue in the whole world.. Probably…
