Not to worry about the extra control – it’s all good training!

The midges do seem to be bad this year – they’ve even made an unwelcome appearance on the upper tier at Malham, normally too breezy for them. It’s a good incentive to get my project route done… Watch this space, and fingers crossed for Friday, although the weather might scupper that plan.

It wouldn’t be as satisfying if these things were easy would it?!

We had to get the hell out of there it was torture , I can’t believe we survived, I forgot my headnet and Rachels was only suitable for ninja mutant midges not pigmy mutant midges …
