  • Astrid following Laetitia on perhaps the best pitch of the route.

  • The view from the route up towards the col de Berard - an awesome place to be in winter on ski in deep powder!

  • Ian on the same pitch.

  • Laetitia and Astrid, "Wot no holds?"

  • Now that looks like a yummy ice cream!!

  • Hand-made Cornettos! :yum:

At last a day without paint – L’ile aux Razmokets

After what seemed like endless days of scraping, sanding, painting, and more painting of the apartment’s shutters [more on that latter with before and after pictures] Ian and I finally got out to do some climbing… We tagged along with Laetitia and Astrid to get the benefit of the company and a lift in the car to the Vallon de Berard where we all climbed the first, and best, eight pitches of L’ile aux Razmokets.

After the route we stopped at the lovely Chalet de la Cascade de  Berard for a well earned ice cream. :yum: We all had hand-made (!) Cornettos!
