Looks like Everest Base Camp
This is starting to sound like fun, sort of, in comparison to being trapped inside a car for two days. Well done.
Also looking forward to an account from Rachel.
it’s live now
Is that “mid-camp” or midge-camp? Ah, the wonders of Scotland and its midges!
I’m hoping Rachel will write an account as well. Unfortunately, I stole the best of the pictures.
How are the itchy bits now the midge bites have had a while to fester?
That’s the one good thing about midges: the bites don’t last nearly as long as New Zealand sandflies.
Well done Richard, another heroic tale of success!!
So when are you going to try one, Anna?
Good effort Richard – always hard on the head when you’re the weaker, but it sometimes works to your advantage, as you feel obliged to get your head down and keep pushing. Clearly it worked out for you both this time!
Nice one! You bagged nothing however – you climbed a mountain! Congratulations.
