Richard reports the night as “restful”… I was pretty chilly all night and so restful is perhaps not quite how I’d describe it… Unfortunately I was too sleepy to find more clothes, but not sleepy enough to sleep through it.
Blimey, wild camping in winter conditions without a stove! That’s a recipe (forgive the pun) for a hypothermic disaster!
Looks like you had a great time though.
Essential ingredients for a comfortable night out in winter: big sleeping bag, stove, and a little tipple of something for a night cap.
But it looks like a good couple of days, and very quiet. Love picture #2.

No, we decided that with so many tea shops in the near vicinity, a flask would be sufficient!
