Climbing rock (aka Free Climbing).
Whitehorse is the last bit of normal civilisation we passed through on the way out the Cirque of the Unclimbables, and it feels like it, with the qualities one associates with an old style frontier town.
This past couple of weeks I seem to have fallen in with a gang of rather dubious Arc’teryx t-shirt grabbers…
Last Friday evening was the official guidebook launch party for the new Lake District Rock guidebook published under the new Wired Guides brand by the FRCC.
I’m just back from a week on a CC meet in Scotland based on a sail boat. The aim being to sail to some Scottish islands and sample the rock climbing using the boat as our accommodation…
