Sterling Adventures

Being confined to barracks is pretty dull, but Anna managed to get away from the asylum for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon, attending the Aspatria Flower Festival at St. Kentigern’s.

Lots of colourful displays, craft and cake stalls. At least it got Anna away from a grumpy old git for a few hours…. not long now to Aspatria Gala day… I can’t wait.

Sarah and Jon had been out at Buckstone How for the day,but in the evening Sarah put on a BBQ, and as usual the British weather did its best to spoil the party with a cool breeze sending us scurrying indoors. Nevermind, loads of good food, lots to drink and most important good company.
