No, this isn’t a huge bunch of flowers bought by Pete!
Our garden is a nightmare and a pleasant place at the same time!
We’ve tackled everything in two mad days of full-on ‘extreme gardening’. That is, getting it all done to minimise the number of climbing days used up. From cutting the hedges, felling enormous leylandi trees, planting new trees (in keeping with the Lakes), building stone walls, setting out vegetable gardens, and clipping the grass. It has been hectic, and tiring. Taking four trips to the tip to dispose of the trimmings. With one return trip including a stop at the garden centre to buy the new trees (which totally filled the car – as you can see in the picture).
But now that it is done, at least we can enjoy it through the summer months…
A bold blackbird helping out!
