Why does Terry call us "cats"?

Terry’s trip report from the Costa Durada, near Barcelona, came in ‘pre-internet’ form; a postcard!

I’m sure Terry got some great climbing done in Spain. But he has asked the obvious question – why does he call us cats?
Oh, and what does that Spanish on the postcard say?
