Monday evening is a good time for a route that traverses a popular crag. We went down to Shepherd’s after work, sadly we were too late for the cafe. Fisher’s Folly Buttress has lots of good routes but neither of us had tried True Cross, so off Ian went. It looked like rain was looming and I was rather worried about being half way across when it started but 24 hours later it still hasn’t rained.

Half way across

A quality route at VS 4c but with exposure and steepness (and there is a jug around the corner when you need it!). Recommended.

Ian approaches the end of the route.
