I was supposed to be in Walsall for work today. But Network Rail had other ideas! 
Despite a 5am start to get there in time, a three hour delay north of Crewe meant I missed my meeting. I only got as far as Birmingham! So I spent some time using the free wireless internet in McDonalds, took these pictures (just to prove that work still sucks too), and then headed back to Cumbria. Which was also delayed by an hour as Virgin’s trains were in all the wrong places because of the morning’s fiasco!

Not sure I understand this post Pete?
Work can only “suck” if you actually do any instead of skiving off with ” the dog eat my homework” type excuses.
Or.
Are you saying that working at Mcy D’s sucks? Didn’t know you were a mid-life career mover
