On route from the Blueys to the main climbing destination of our trip, Mt Arapiles, we stopped off for a change of scenery at the Australian Alps – Mount Buffalo. At a hight of 1723m it was a wee bit chillier than we expected. And it rained! But we managed to climb at the Horn (the highest point of the Mt Buffalo plateau) perfect smooth granite – not a hold in sight – argh!
