Terry and John Hollands are climbing at Pic St Loup, near Montpellier. We prefer long multi-pitch to single pitch sports. So here we are today at the scary-looking crag, Hortus, picking the easiest route up the face, Cagne (5c).
Here you see the party just in front of us on the first pitch. They were slick French and we never saw them again!

I can say there wasn’t a single let up in the difficulty. John joins me after this fantastic dihedral…..

And carries on for more of same….

Needless to say, two very happy boys enjoyed coffee and cakes…

In St Martin de Londres afterwards.

It’s about bloody time we saw some cake on this site!
Yeah, I’m just looking for a cat to post too
Looks good Terry – and the climbing bit looks good too.
[...] it isn’t just Laetitia and I that like a cake to reward a good day’s climbing – you can here that Terry enjoys his cakes [...]
