A bunch of mates are skiing for the week in Les Arcs, so we took the opportunity to join them for a day of piste bashing madness…

When we stopped for lunch we ordered the Les Arcs stylee Americain to see how it compared with those in Chamonix. Verdict, with a better/bigger burger (if a bit raw), no salad, fewer chips, and no sauce, Chamonix’s Americain wins!

Sorry to Phil for losing him in the morning, but thankfully we found him again tucking in to an early lunch.
It was a great day out. Les Arc has some amazing skiing with excellent long runs. A real change to the shorter runs here in Chamonix. It was a gloriously sunny day… note our red faces

Derren and Jon are the Speed Monsters
, topping over 90kmph in the morning. We tried hard to keep up, but they thankfully slowed down for us pedestrians – ha ha.
We left the gang celebrating the end of the day enjoying Happy Hour in a bar… I wonder how long they stayed? Hic!
It was excellent to see you both again
don’t know how much longer we spent in the bar but we certainly had a great time. Dean, Derren, Dave, Dave2 (johnny delta!) and Phil.
