Chee Dale

Saturday’s brilliant weather was wasted on me this weekend – I had a guidebook related meeting to attend. A shame from a climbing point of view, but a good productive session, so it should be good for the CC’s guidebooks in years to come.

However, it was an excellent opportunity to visit Paul and get some Peak limestone climbing in on Sunday…

Paul had selected another awesome Peak District venue to expand my knowledge of the area: Chee Dale. I think it’s one of Paul’s old favourite venues too, but unfortunately not one his gritstone-loving Barnsley based climbing pals favour quite so much, so he hardly ever gets to go. Therefore having the chance to visit with me in tow was great all round – except for my steep limestone weak fingers. Where’s the stamina when you need it? A great place to get strong!

And after that – Tea and Cake Rewards! :yum:
