Our resident Blue Tit has hatched her first chick! Although I’m not too sure about the parenting skills so far… It seems that all the little green caterpillars both parents are bringing back are far too big for the weak little hatchling to eat. Consequently they are all being quaffed by the mum at the moment.

Anyhow, here’s a brief clip to show off the new baby…

Lets hope the little critter is still with us tomorrow and the parents find a supply of baby-sized food.
