Yesterday at about 4.30AM this site was hacked by some idiot calling himself The Governor. Why? I have no idea! What purpose does it serve? I guess just bragging rights. As it’s not as if this site is some kind of political powerhouse worth the effort of disrupting. In fact it’s just a site dedicated to having fun and sharing with friends. So I wonder how The Governor feels (if he [assuming it's a "he"] does feel anything) about the impact his actions have on those innocent fun-loving people? Probably none, preferring to hide behind some ill-concieved notion that exposing some unseen security weakness is a service of some sort!
Well the impact – thanks to backups etc. – is a wasted day of effort and a great deal of sadness (at times I felt like simply not bothering with the site any longer) and anger (as I’m certain they’ll be back to mess up our fun again). 
Anyhow, as a key feature of this site now-a-days is to keep a record of what we and our friends are up to, here’s a snapshot of how The Governor thinks the site should look…

Yeah, well done Governor… so glad your life has meaning
Now if you’d read the blogs you might have thought twice about deleting everything. What a terrible world this would be without friends, fun, adventure and CAKES

Really saddened to read about this
but glad you’ve decided to get the site up and running again. I enjoy reading the blogs and contributing sometimes and appreciate the effort you guys go to in keeping it up and running

Hmmm… and what an addition! I don’t think I’m gonna use it at work tho, even if there are some people who would deserve this name.
Anyway, I don’t think he’ll be back unless Pete has some secret enemies but it’s not likely. So from now on the blog will have actually two birthdays, the second one is May 5
Shame the governor has to hide behind a picture of what he wished he looked like
I bet he’s a spotty twat. Why not let us know who you really are, and I’ll show you what real hacking is about (with my axe and chainsaw)
