Having finally got back through the monsoon of the midlands, Chris and Sarah persuaded Jon, Anna and me to head up to High Crag, Buttermere.
Grabbing some Cornish good weather before the long dark winter... Well, that was the plan for our trip to Cornwall, staying at the CC's Bosigran hut, the Count House...
Since last weeks disappointment we had found out from the land owner that in the week before our previous dive attempt a farmer further up the valley had sprayed the bracken in his fields. In light of this information we now assume that it was the chemical that had stained the water...
What a wonderful time we had in Croatia, Paklenica to be exact, and what an amazing place. Sadly still much evidence of the war...

We came home from North Wales last night. The forecast wasn't great, so we decided that not so great weather at home was better than not so great weather in Wales. Very tired, we didn't get out of bed until close to 10am, and the clouds looked heavy, so we felt uninspired to climb. After a few essential household chores we decided to go for a bike ride up the Kentmere valley...
On the Bank Holiday weekend we (Anna, Sarah, Jon, Andy & Sabiene) went to Scotland hoping to find fine weather...
Sunday, and with a great weather forecast Ian, Anna, Andy and Sabiene headed for Scout Crag in Langdale...
