Another sunny day so we hot footed it up to Greatend in Borrowdale. The last time we went there it was very overgrown and a loose boulder on Banzai Pipeline persuaded us to abseil down. However, "mandy" had posted a message telling us that there had been some serious gardening going on so we decided we should investigate...
On a fateful day last week, Brendan of the Dudley Caving Group emailed to ask us whether we would like a longish trip (10-12hr) into Draenen to the pretty stuff in the Dollimore Series. He told us that this was a typical Welsh cave with plenty of boulder hopping and no tackle required...
Terry had a plan - to make tracks for the Isle of Arran to climb the Hard Rock classic, the South Ridge of Cir Mhor (the Rosa Pinnacle)...
Andy and Colin visit DYO and help Bernie with a cabling project. Jo didn't come along on this one.
Terry and aspirant, Chris, headed to the Meet on Saturday lunch time and hit the Pass in equivocal weather. Very cold and threatening rain and nobody else about so we headed for Dinas Bach...
