After a few blogs which included our adventures while we were in Lofoten - climbing, ice-cream and beer - I thought I'd add one more about the Lofoten facts and logistics...
The last three days of our Lofoten Island rock climbing trip were the most amazing of the trip...
A day (well mostly a night) spent supporting our friend Steve's attempt at the Bob Graham Round. The Langdale Pikes were strangely deserted at 5am!
On Sunday we chilled, and decided on a BBQ.... typically it rained
This weekend Anna and I joined Andy, Sabiene and Arthur in Langdale, where they are staying this week in a small cottage. Saturday found us on the Fairfield Horseshoe.
So, same location, Black Crag, Borrowdale, very similar weather, warm and sunny. Perfect for pushing the boat out and seeing what happens.
Today we went climbing - wall to wall blue sky...
No climbing today due to a morning of precipitation (a note for Terry here: precipitation is different to rain; it never rains in Lofoten)...
After our neighbour's Blue Tits had fledged, we thought we'd ended our own "Springwatch", but hidden in an outhouse, I found 3 pleading gapes!!!
