Sailing on the Solent, Buzzing
Digging
On Sunday we went digging … in search of caverns measureless to man. Unfortunately we only excavated a metre of passage. Still, the journey to the digging face was really quite fun, lots of climbs, ladder pitches and squeezy sections. No pictures, but a little competition….
Blue Tit Update
Crikey they grow quick! Just seven days old (well, one chick is 7, there are 4 who are 6, and 1 who is a little over 5) and the blue tit chicks have at least doubled in size, perhaps three times!
Blue Bell Run
New girls on the block
As you may recall, Blackie died when Ian was in Antarctica. When he was in Austria, Mrs Frosty snuffed it. Last week there was further trauma when his favourite rescue hen, Scrappy, passed on to the great chicken coop in the sky. So from six chooks the flock was reduced to three. Until now. Welcome …
Another penguin?
They made it!
So far so good, all six eggs have hatched and survived their first few days!
