Alongside our adoption of solar panels to get free (when the sun shines) electricity we have moved to Octopus as our provider…
Octopus has two advantages, the first is simple for everyone – they offer competitive tariffs for supplying both electricity and gas. But for us, as solar panel owners, they also offer a tariff for uploading (selling) electricity back to the grid. This is of course excellent on sunny days where we are easily generating more electric than we can use or store.
