Give the Ice a Chance!

Friday, 10th February 2012

Just getting into the swing of it again. Been very warm here but forecast minus 12°C tonight with high minus 5°C tomorrow...

Lakeland Snow

Sunday, 5th February 2012

Richard and Ali came over to the Lakes this weekend... Snow was forecast, yet Saturday morning dawned cold and clear, though that didn't last long.

Ski ski ski

Friday, 3rd February 2012

More skiing and even some black runs!

Unexciting, but an adventure nevertheless…

Thursday, 2nd February 2012

Went to work yesterday, and am going in again tomorrow, having not been in for months. Sorry for being off the radar, hope to get back to more adventurous ways soon. Take care all, and have happy and safe adventures.

A Proper Powder Day

Tuesday, 31st January 2012

Rachel shows her style in the powder on the first run of the day.

Fantastic powder snow equals a great day's skiing. Now if only I could get Rachel to fall over more!

Antarctic Postcard

Tuesday, 31st January 2012

We got a postcard from Antarctica today!

The one that got away….

Monday, 30th January 2012

My friends Amy and Will headed up to join me in Scotland this weekend with the intention of going winter climbing, with the rare combination of good conditions and a reasonable weather forecast we hoped to tick a **** classic route.
