Last year Anna and I optimistically booked a ski trip well ahead of any snow forecasts; well the time came and we were lucky with the weather and the snow.
Desperate to get out and do something as it was the weekend, we joined Sabiene and Arthur on a round of Wainwrights from Whinlatter.
Today was Chris's birthday (landlord of Hunters in Cockermouth), so we decided on an away day to Glenshee.
Its midweek, so Jon and I headed to Blea Water to see how the ice was building......
I remember going to the cinema when I was about 7 years old; whatever was on there was always a massive queue. In the end we were pleased just to get a seat. All of those cinema goers from my childhood turned up at Great End on Saturday............
You've got to grab the opportunity when it arises, so Jon and I took a day off work and headed up to Great End to enjoy some of the fantastic conditions.
After too much whisky the night before (on my part), Andy, Sabiene, Anna and I headed west for a short round of a couple of Wainwrights that Sabiene wanted to tick off.
A late start today, so Anna and I met Sarah at her house in Hesket Newmarket
Well its New Year, and for the 34th year running I've made it my resolution to get fitter!!
